I got my 5 year old a kindergarten prep workbook and every time he tells me he’s bored he has to do 5 pages of it 😅 haven’t heard “I’m bored” in a few days 😏

I feel like you need to start from scratch with the kids. Take everything but the necessities (bed and clothes) and when they help they earn time with the fun things. They don’t get it back, they get an hour on the game, an hour on the tv, an hour with friends. Every task they complete gives them time with something. And if they don’t want to do anything they can sit in their room, bored, staring at the wall. They’ll get the hint, if I do my chores, I can do xy and z.
