The contrast between Ei and Alain as creators is really refreshing to see. Ei watched Scaramouche leave and called it ‘giving freedom’ because she had a warped view of life (this was shown in her story quest, when she walked around Inazuma after a really long time realising a lot of things). While Alain took his time in perfecting Sandrone despite her shortcomings in the beginning, teaching her step by step. “But ei didn’t intend to hurt him” Intention ≠ outcome. He was hurt at the end of the day, never got closure, and that has to be acknowledged. She thought he wasn’t capable of the gnosis and that’s totally fine, she still could’ve kept him around the palace to grow but Ei lacked the emotional intelligence to see that as an option. Not hate, just observation.

I came to this idea and will always promote it. Ei has a huge ahh palace and all the means to give him a normal life. She could have simply left him to live in Tenshukaku and raised him as a noble youth. Even if she didn't love him and didn't interact with him, she could have simply dumped everything on the servants and still given him the opportunity to live there. It's not THAT difficult. And the fandom likes to complicate this situation, although the solution is literally very simple.

I still genuinely hate Ei, cause like the whole thing with 'i do not wish to assert control over him' and give him freedom doesn't make sense. like dainsleif and venti said, freedom demanded of you by an archon, is really no freedom at all. also she left him in the pavilion for 100 years without any explanation, I love scara so much, i love his lore.

the parallels between scara + sandrone have been feeding me GOOODDDD like. theyre such perfect foils. they both dont trust others until a point when you need to team up over a mutual goal, and yet they had such different creation experiences. as an ei fan ive been eating so mf good man
