Did you ever have hairloss? You have so much hair! I started losing hair after like -40lbs. I’m down about 70 now and still losing hair.

The term body recomposition did the same for me. Looking it as changing your muscle to fat ratio not just reducing the number on the scale made it seem more emotionally neutral and more scientific, and less punishing.

Makes sense! I had gastric bypass about 3 years ago also, June 12! I did very easy/lazy yoga for the first year and then we moved away from the studio I loved and I haven’t gotten into any movement since. Following to cheer you on and hopefully get myself up too lol

Wow that makes a lot of sense. I never thought about it that way. Thanks for sharing. I’m currently on a health journey. I too have been a yoyo dieter since my teen years (I’m 44 now). I’m noticing that I view things as being bad or good when it comes to diet and exercise. So this is a very healthy view on how to take care of of your body.
