It’s easy to prove they did it on purpose. They signed contracts that prove that they are allocating almost all of their production for these AI data centers. If 90% of their production is going towards cheap ram for data centers, then the 10% that’s left is going to be absurdly expensive components due to an artificial shortage caused by the allocating all their sources to other organizations. Mind you, some of these datacenters don’t even exist yet, but their ram production is already bought.
