@ronshootsfilm: got my hands on an Olympus mju, so of course i had to check if it actually works first. this is the Olympus Stylus 80, part of the Olympus mju family of 35mm point and shoot film camera models. (in the US, this line was sold as Olympus Stylus. in other markets, it’s commonly known as Olympus mju.) i got this vintage camera for a friend, so before sending it over, i wanted to test the basics first: power with a CR2 battery, buttons, flash, zoom, and a dummy roll to check if it advances and rewinds properly. so far, it works. and i get the appeal already. it’s small, pocketable, easy to bring around, and from the sample photos i’ve seen online, this thing looks like it can actually take really nice photos. that lens is so sharp! what do you think of the Olympus mju or mju ii for film photography? let me know! #filmphotography #analogphotography #35mmfilm #filmcamera #vintagecamera
