@jayjorgemd: ⚠️ Taking ibuprofen or Aleve every day? Your body might be trying to tell you something. Persistent stomach pain, nausea, or difficulty eating shouldn’t be something you simply “live with.” Long-term use of common pain relievers may lead to problems that deserve a closer look. The earlier you address these symptoms, the better your options may be. If these symptoms sound familiar, don’t wait to get answers. Schedule a visit with your doctor or reach out to our team to discuss your concerns. 💙 ———————————— Juaquito “Jay” M. My doctor told me to take ibuprofen. Over and over. Because women’s pain is ignored.

Well guess what? Drs have made it impossible to get any kind of a prescription for pain meds. It’s ridiculous! Tylenol doesn’t always cut it. And you’re made to feel like a criminal for even asking. It’s exhausting.

Maybe Drs should prescribe the pain medication that is needed for issues instead forcing Tylenol, ibuprofen, etc every day. 🤔

I have chronic pain and my Rheumatologist told me it’s okay for me to take my 800 mg ibuprofen and my Tylenol rapid release together as long as I don’t go over 3,000 mg of Tylenol a day 😳 here lies the reason why your patient was taking so much ibuprofen . Untreated Chronic pain .

It’s all we have. Try finding a Dr that will give you actual pain meds…..I had a hysterectomy in 2016 and was told no pain meds, Tylenol will be sufficient. It was, in fact, not sufficient. Ended up taking my husbands oxy for 3 days (he was stage 4 cancer at that time) and it was enough to help get past the initial post op pain. They don’t care about us.

Well, doctors really give us no other choice. I have terrible endometriosis and fibroids and they just say keep taking Ibuprofen and naproxen. 🙄 So I do

Well when dr refuse to treat pain with actual pain medication. Patients only options are toasted skin syndrome from heating pads and bleeding stomachs from over the counter medications. Doctors need to stop with the garbage thinking that every patient is an addict drug seeking. It’s neglectful not to believe patients.

Then stop criminalizing chronic pain patients for needing script pain meds. Ibuprofen is literally the only otc med that helps a little sometimes. Not everyone is a drug addict & frankly if more drs would listen their patients and work on getting to the bottom of the pain to begin with (while providing proper pain management) there wouldn’t be so many suffering in silence and left to their own devices available (ibuprofen) to manage life. Sorry, not sorry… too many spineless medical professionals not willing to push back and stand up for their patients in need 🤷‍♀️There is it, in black & white and what every single suffering, unheard, brushed off, passed off pain patient feels and wants to say

I am honestly sick of Dr's who shove Gabapentin at you for pain. Everyone is so worried about addiction. A man gets a vasectomy he gets oxy. A woman has a c section she is told to take Tylenol!!

Tell this to physicians that refuse to prescribe pain medication and tell EVERYONE to take Ibuprofen instead as if it is a completely safe and benign medication.

Doctors don't prescribe pain meds!!!! I have chronic ankle pain with recurrent tendinitis. I can't get anything more than Tylenol and Motrin. I even had surgery and you know what I got, 800mg Motrin and Tylenol. For surgery. Doctors need to do better.
