@pocket.psychologist: Olympic gold medalist Eileen Gu once said, “With neuroplasticity on my side, I can become exactly who I want to be.” As a psychologist, I love this quote. Here’s why. 🧠 Your brain is constantly changing. Every action you repeat strengthens a pathway. Every time you practise something, your brain gets better at it .. like riding a bike! And here’s the part most people miss. Your brain learns from evidence, not intention. Not “I’ll start Monday.” Not “I’ll do it when I’m more confident.” Not “I’ll be more disciplined tomorrow.” Your brain pays attention to what you actually do. One workout. One boundary. One difficult conversation. One brave decision… Those actions become evidence, and evidence is what changes the brain. So if you want to become a different version of yourself, stop making bigger promises. Start collecting better evidence. 💛 Link in Bio to check out my mini course with practical psychology tools you can actually use. 🧠
