Map is clearly mapped wrong… I can get why the error is there - seems like it’s based on assumption rather than knowledge. Scandinavians knew for a fact at that time that Greenland existed and there wasn’t solid land from Norway further to west (unless you sail many days)

Раньше люди путешествовали за специями в Индию по побережью, а это долго, люди уже тогда знали что Земля это шар, и Колумб хотел направится напрямую через запад, но вместо Индии нашел Карибы,а позже сушу, которую принял за Индию, и нативных американцев которых встретили поэтому назвали индейцами. это было в 1492-1498 Итальянец Америго Веспуччи в 1502 году доказал что это не Индия и вообще не Азия,а совершенно новый континент. в 1507 году германский картограф Мартин Валдземюллер нарисовал новую карту и новый континент назвал в честь Америго Веспуччи Америкой.
