they do it because if you do an x ray 1 time nothing can happen to you but doctors do it daily and comming in touch with those rays daily will make you very sick, heck the person that made the 1st x ray d*id of the x ray by comming to mich in contact the rays so thats why they do it just for thier protection but you will be fine
