I’ll never understand it. The perfect scenario for a Dive character where they have to use everything in their kit and ults to BARELY scratch kills while a poke character can do it with a fraction of the effort and people are fine with it and try to justify it all.

The combo in that clip is also harder to hit consistently than any spidey long pull or 2tap header in the game btw. Before any of the cooldown awareness or positioning is taken into account.

do you remember when you’d see something fast and hard to execute in a fighting game and think wow this guy must have grinded to get that good and that quick, i want to reach that level. but marvel rivals community thinks wow im mad that that player is 10x better than me he should be nerfed immediately so that i can match it with 1% of the skill and effort

That’s not a good way to put this I’ll explain, Black panther is a poorly designed character from the ground up. Characters that ground will make this clip impossible yes, namor and others yes but the fact that the possibility to do what the bp did in the clip exists is another problem. Two things can be through yes he is week because other chapters hard counter his movement but when they are not there he is also incredibly strong. You cannot aim at or consistently hit someone moving like that and it’s a problem because the counter play of any game SHOULDN’T be swapping character. Same way that somebody playing things shouldn’t force you off bp, bp shouldn’t force you to play a counter either.

When i play Cap bare minimum 3 people are following me around. When i play Emma nobody stops me from dropping 40. People hate dive bc it’s the easiest comp to counter ALL you have to do is look at them and people refuse to do it.

Bp is genuinely a SS tier chsracter if left unchecked/countered so giving every character a chance to fight back makes sense but only for that character. But when there’s 20+ dps it just makes a lot more sense to remove or rework bp

Black panther is still unfair and unhealthy if left uncountered he’s one of the best characters but the only way to counter him is by half if not most of your team having to switch just for him. No character should force that much attention by them self or be unable to be reacted too
