imo, dating before marriage is essentially the baby version of getting married. With dating, u can get to know tje person WELL, without their being a timeframe and if things work out you prepare for marriage. If it dosent work out, u break up with no legal repercussions, end of. You can't prepare for marriage...WHILE MARRIED😭 And they think divorce is like breaking up, where u js decide u no longer want to be with them and boom easy as that.

I think the scariest part is the “intimacy”. Like, theoretically, you can’t have any kind of physical intention with someone who’s not your wife/husband… So maybe things can get hard in the dating part, since intimacy is another important thing I suppose:(((. I say this as Muslim girl who dated, and had to end the relationship because I wasn’t/im not allowed to have s€x:(

Yes yes yes! I hate it when people suggest that marrying quickly is a no harm no foul solution- if you decide to “break up” you literally have to go through so much legally, culturally and religiously- it is SUCH hassle when just taking it slow at the start can save you so much pain! We are talking about issues that can plague you for the rest of your life, you don’t decide something like that in a few months??
