My corso may be broke, she loves everyone, never been aggressive in any situation and is very well behaved. Training and genetics def matters with these dogs.

I have 3 corsos and I work outta my home because they require so much work. But are so loving and yet they have so much power. I’ve dedicated 20 years dealing with this breed. Only for strong leaders

All my kids went on vacation to the beach this week so we have our 2 rotties and a catahoula cur, my daughter’s cane corso and bully, plus our little chihuahua and my son’s miniature schnauzer mix. I’ve literally felt like a damn drill sergeant all week, but 2 days in everybody started playing together! Now, my husband and I don’t take trips cause no one’s watching ours😩

I worked with a dog sitter for 6 months before I needed her to watch my Corso. started with her being on the room, all the way to entering the house without us here

It’s all about knowledgeable owners, there are barely any anymore I feel like! People just want dogs they think look good but don’t actually learn about the breed or what it requires

What absolute bull 😆😆😆 a well bred cane corso is naturally wary of strangers and they have strong guardian instincts but they are loyal and protective of their family. In the wrong hands and without proper training for them instincts you can have strength with no control which is dangerous. Your dog should back down and stop if you tell them to, no questions asked, proper training and leadership will do this. I have a 14 month old Romanian import and he is amazing with my family, he is not friendly with strangers unless I tell him it’s good then he will let them say hi. He has very strong guarding instincts, patrolling the perimeters and when out on walks if someone is going to cross our path he will position himself infront or behind me whichever way they are coming from, if I say it’s all good..he will walk on. My mum will be coming to stay at our home with him while we are away as he loves his nana. A well bred and well raised cane corso is not a threat, it’s a protector 😇

I have a 4 year old cane… I hear people talk about them and I genuinely don’t understand. I think mine is broken. He’s 140 lbs we boarded him for training when he was still very young and kept up with training with a trainer expecting all of this explained in the video… my husband military gone a lot he’s meant to be the guard dog. Even the trainers have looked at me and said “ he’s the most tame and timid corso they’ve seen. I still kneel him when friends or family are over especially when hubby is gone because I know his breed but… he’s just quiet, he’ll wine he loves everyone. I don’t leave the kids alone with him etc. I think he’ll protect if there’s a reason too but sometimes o actually question if he would do anything 😅
