Sheesh… last week was eventful! ✅ Monday & Tuesday taught a workshop ✅ Wednesday attend my friends’ going away 🎉 party….. then we revisited our childhood by attending the Garland Fair and rode rides we hadn’t experienced in ages…and yes, I still screamed and sounded crazy 😂 ✅ Thursday Carter J had basketball 🏀 practice in Tyler ✅ Friday we pretended to be young again and went out to The Celt ✅ Saturday we had basketball that morning and then attended the Freedom and Fireworks event in Princeton! The Drone show was AMAZING 🤩! ✅ Sunday more basketball 🏀 this morning! We won the 1st game 35-20… however the 2nd game was bad for a few reasons…our 16/15 year olds played 18/19 yr olds and that cool… but with that comes physicality that is beyond what our boys are use to! Therefore, Carter took a blow to the head and got his nose busted and slightly concussed. He was out the rest of the game. Now keep in mind we played this weekend with only six players. So the 5 continued w/o a sub! We lost but our boys could have definitely heals their own better had they NOT run out of gas and gave up! In between, the games we came across the car show at Garage Gas Monkey Ice House! Then ended it all with brunch/lunch at Chill Bar & Grill in Lewisville. I’m exhausted but pumped about tonight! I will be providing the Keynote for the PACE High School of Duncanville ISD graduation 👩🏾‍🎓!
