I HAVE A REAL ANSWER!!! TVs were not high def back in the day and movies were made to reflect that, it would soften and blend the movies making them look more realistic. TVs now are all high def and enhance and sharpen what’s there instead of softening what’s there. If you watched this on an old box tv it would look way better! Same with games!!

No because it WAS better. I showed my son the Timmy and jimmy neutron special the other day on paramount, looked like shit. I put it in his dvd player and it looked PERFECT like not even a little grainy. I was suprised it looked more real than stuff now. Get a crt tv and those physical copies friends

I have a belief that when we were little we could be fed little information or details and our brain would automatically fill in the rest. Which is why things seemed more detailed then they actually are. I don’t know if thats a thing or not but its something I’ve thought about

These movies were made for the tvs in the era it came out. It’s like when you have an old picture on a an old phone. If you send that picture to a new phone, it won’t look the same.

No because that’s what it looked like, I had the dvd. The data corrupts over repeatedly uploading to different devices and sometimes it’s just done incorrectly.

I really wish they would bring back old Barbie, monster high, and bratz. I’m so over the botched redesigns and poor storylines. They could make bank if they went back to old styles with new stories and even sold the dolls like they used to.
