@_robbiedeezle: The more the days pass, the more I subscribe to this line of thought. As I sit here, about a month away from my 41st birthday, I often think "what do I want?" Now... right now, is the time that I seriously need to answer that question. Truthfully, I haven't been happy (fulfilled) in a long time. I know the things that I like to do and the things that make me happy, but they always seem to be put on the back burner in an effort to do the traditional thing or to keep the peace. All the while, there was a larger, more intense battle brewing inside of me. One that became impossible to ignore. You see, being a creative, sharing my talents, and mastering the art of connection is something I've ALWAYS been passionate about. It's what I've been best at my whole life, and the one thing I've never put down. So as I head into the most important next few months of my life, the answer to the question becomes clearer, and more prominent. I want to create. I want to connect. I want to build a community. And so, the work begins. I know it will not be easy, it will not happen fast, but it will happen. Why? Simply because I've decided to relentlessly pursue this until I make it so. There is no more keeping the peace, there is no more what if, or maybe next time. I've made a lot of progress and I can see that everything I want is on the opposite end of hard work and consistency.
