@pre1906: Here’s what this channel is about. This is Ancient Rome through old books, old engravings, and old European sources. Not random Google pictures. Not modern AI-cleaned museum graphics. Not the version rewritten ten times for whatever political mood is popular today. These are old printed pages showing how people before us understood Rome. The symbols, the columns, the monuments, SPQR, the whole visual language. And the funny part is this. Even in the 1700s they were still casually using Roman state symbols like SPQR to identify Rome and the Roman people. Why? Because this visual language never really disappeared. It just changed clothes. So no, this page is not just “a cool old picture.” It is a piece of how Rome was remembered before history became one giant edited PDF. #History #architecture
