As someone who just graduated from college and currently preparing for grad school, just know that college will be an important time in your life. I struggled a lot with loneliness in high school. High school was a huge low for me in my life. I felt apprehensive about my college because many people from hs (many mean ones) would be going there too. In college, I’ve had my highs and lows. There were successes and failures on the way. If you fail, don’t be scared of it. It will help you appreciate your successes so much more. Towards the end of my time in undergrad, it slowly became like high school all over again. However, the big difference was that I had REAL friends who were there to help me out. Also, when you head to college, you’ll learn so much more about your identity than you would have with your parents. I had very strict parents (not as strict as yours and I’m sorry), and I wouldn’t have learned about myself if I didn’t go out of state. Now they are completely different people and much less strict, but that takes LOTS of time. I wish you the best of luck & I already know that you’ll have fun!!

As someone who just graduated college and is about to enter graduate school, college is hands down the best experience of your life—just stay safe, focus on your studies, and be yourself. Peer pressure is honestly worse in high school from my experience. You will still have some people stuck in high school, but it’s almost always the ones who peaked in HS. Join a sorority if it’s in your budget! It was a fantastic experience for me, but make sure to put in time. You get out what you put in.🩵

I remember during my first week at college I cried soo much because of how big the change was specially that I’ve always been someone who doesn’t like change and struggles to deal with it so it was really really difficult for me. But I eventually got through it and I’m glad I learned how to adapt when things change In the end some of the best days of my life were the ones I spent at university.

Reign of Error :
You’re gonna kill it in college. Relax, it’s not as stressful as high school. Everything feels so extra dramatic in high school. A full time schedule is usually 15 hours of class time and you can fit it into just two days a week for the first couple of semesters at least. Visit the professors outside of class. They are usually very welcoming and understanding. Make sure to enjoy the experience, it’s simply magical.

Lowk you’re going to the uni I’m att, I was rlly scared going into it too now I’m gonna be a junior, it’s kinda a big transition but there’s a lot of cool events that they do where you can get familiar with everything and the campus felt so big to me but now being familiar with it it doesn’t feel that way anymore
