I remember the Brach’s candy very well. I was working in a supermarket, were they sold them and these open display boxes. they were supposed to be sold by weight, so they had a roll of plastic bags sitting next to them. Unfortunately, for the store, people would go by the display, see them sitting there, and think they were free samples. So the store would lose money.. that’s probably why they discontinued them.
