I’m AuDHD and my family has themselves convinced I’m the only one. Except I have my dad plus two uncles who are the walking embodiment of the clueless professor stereotype. Also my dad spends his free time photographing spiders for fun and couldn’t pick up a social cue if it slapped him in the face and then sat in his hand.

when I was diagnosed and they were explaining my diagnosis 95% of what they said for me applied to my dad and about 50% applied to my ma and 85% applied to my older brother😭

I’m not diagnosed but I have a core memory of year 3 being told to brainstorm. I thought we had to make a storm in our brain and I couldn’t understand why it related to whatever topic we had to ‘brainstorm’ 😂
