I love writing dialogue because it's like roleplaying the characters for me. I know what I want the conversation to accomplish and then I let the characters lead it in their voices and I'll end up with some fun asides that weren't planned.

my outline is merely a suggestion for my characters. they often let me know if am wrong and do their own thing.
