Apparently no one understands intellectual property. Warner Bros owns MCR everything- that’s who is running the socials and selling you shirts. The band has nothing to do with it. As for touring their old music, I feel like none of you were around in 2013 for the breakup. The simple fact that they’re playing is awesome. They don’t owe you a new record every 2 years, they’re not taylor swift

I think it’s ok that they don’t release more music, many bands do it and their songwriting changed so much I think most of their fans wouldn’t like it anyway, I know I wouldn’t. The thing I do have an issue with is how overpriced everything is, which from them is really hypocritical.

Y’all are too young to know what a legacy band is and it shows. MCR have turned into a legacy band, and that’s okay, that’s typically the natural progression of things. The people upset about them being a legacy act were often too young to experience them in their prime

also the shift to constant merch and remasters .,, this happened with owl city too.. merch and exclusives and expensive tours and remasters but never new music or any real interaction with their community.. i still love both bands and their music but damn.. stings a little

started listening to mcr when i was 10, im now 21 and got to see the band i never thought id see, they got me through some rough times so yes i will spend that money again, for younger me and for future me

As an mcr fan who loves the music but hasnt seen them live since 2012 or bought new merch this is so funny… like i just refuse to participate in that. Just like i like taylors music and dont buy any of the extra crap. If yall ALL stop spending ur money on it, theyll stop making it.

I love them so much and they’re one of my favorite bands. But they just keep doing the same songs over and over while putting out a fuck ton of expensive merch. Don’t get me wrong tho, the black parade revival was kinda cool, but give me another album or something yk? Like I love yall, but I want new music not new merch that’s gonna cost me a whole damn paycheck. Put out a new song, or an album, SOMETHING
