@rollingwithjess: This is all based on my experience, the main thing the hospital want to know from you to discharge you is that you are comfortable moving around, you are able to use your house independently or you have someone to care for you, and that you are prepared to go home with the correct equipment. I know some people who have had a longer hospital stay than me due to that their house wasn’t set up for them post amputation etc so I thought I’d make this video so it is helpful for others to prepare themselves (I am also currently editing a longer version with more indepth info for youtube) VD: Jess is a 20 year old white female with long brown hair. She is sat in her pink and black RGK wheelchair. Throughout the video she is talking directly to the camera. In the video she shows her stump rest which looks like a cushion on a stick with a clamp. End VD. #amputee #electiveamputation #wheelchair #jia #crps
it’s been really interesting to know so much about this. i hope it’s all been going well for you jess!

We know this is a difficult and exhausting time, but illness is merely a passing phase, not the end of the road. Your strength and patience are beyond measure, and every passing day is a step toward recovery—praise be to God. Hold fast to hope; for after weariness comes rest, and after pain comes relief. We stand by your side and constantly pray that God grants you health and well-being.🥰🦋🙏
