Thank you. My husband was removed from NC Medicaid approximately a year ago because his income is too high. He is on Disability because he a blind diabetic amputee in ESRD who attends dialysis treatments 3 times a week.

My daughter is 25 and autistic. She works, but not full time. There’s no guarantee of 20 hours a week for her so that she can fulfill the new work requirement. We tried for years to get her disability, but failed. If she loses Medicaid she won’t have access to the meds and therapy she needs to function and have quality of life.

We all pay into this. We all want to be able to use this. Same with social security. It's as simple as that. we paid in, we should have money to get it paid out when we need it.

My mom has type 1 diabetes and gastroparesis which leaves her constantly nauseous and sick and low energy and she is not able to keep a job nor would anyone hire her but she’s losing her Medicaid. Which provides her meds and diabetes supplies. We have no clue what we’re going to do
