La nueva BMW X5 me dejó una duda… ¿BMW contrató a Elon Musk o simplemente compró el logo de X para hacer los headlights? Cada vez veo más carros que parecen una caja de metal envuelta en LEDs y pantallas. Antes el diseño transmitía carácter. Ahora parece que el presupuesto se fue en una pantalla de 15 pulgadas y en una firma luminosa. Ojalá vuelva esa época en la que un diseñador dibujaba un automóvil… y no solo un dispositivo electrónico con ruedas.

The people complaining the most about the new X5’s design are the very ones who won’t be buying it new. Their real problem is that, in ten years, when it’s time to buy a used one, they’ll have to drive the same design they’re mocking today. The new X5 has upset future third owners more than anyone else. They’re already panicking at the thought that, in ten years, they’ll end up buying that ‘ugly’ BMW.
