Basim Al-Karbalaei was not just a chanter; he was a project for a vocal epic that began in Karbala's old alleys, drawing inspiration from the legendary "Hamza Al-Zagheer" and mastering the foundations of the sacred pulpit. From Karbala to Exile: The journey began in childhood within Karbalaei processions. However, in 1980, due to harsh political circumstances, Basim and his family moved to Iran (Isfahan). There, he began a phase of academic refinement, studying the Quran and Tajweed under great masters, which gave his voice the strength to master the most difficult melodies.
