Salamalaikam sister. Allah swt has put upon women to cover up to please him, and it’s not selfish, it’s to protect ourselves from the eyes of those who don’t deserve to see our true beauty and also protect our modesty, our bodies.. God knows what we do not know and being muslim is trusting him. We are encouraged to appear pure even if we aren’t. Allah protects us, hides our sins and the hijab is a big symbol. It protects us. As a Muslim and hijabi girl please do research on Islam.
