Owning both Voo and VTI makes no sense. They each own 88% of the exact same companies by weight. If you want to own small caps and that’s why you want VTI go with VOO and a satellite small cap fund like AVUV. If you don’t believe me, do a portfolio backtest for the last 10 years comparing these and you’ll see that this combination does better than VTI alone.

i don't g3t why you recommend VOO and VTI. You're not the only one who does this, but it just doesn't make sense.

Voo and vti - virtually the same. Yes vti has entire stock market, but it contains the same stocks in voo- you only need one of them. Check the returns

Great list. But owning VOO & VTI is redundant. Sticking with just one of them and then having the others is a great blend though.

Problem with nice people like you is that they just repeat what they follow without thinking ! Did you know that VOO & VTI overlap by 84% ? So you basically pay double for same holdings and no diversifying! But either one of them and compound !

BND isn’t just boring, it’s straight up outdated and replaced by dividend growth ETFs like SCHD, DGRO, etc because at least those grow their share price alongside their dividend payout

Vti and voo are basically the same. If you invest in Vgt rather than vti you will be fine., the other 4 i have with vgt as well, going well
