3.5 justices still thought it was okay. So if you think it flew in the face of the 14th amendment then you think those justices fly in the face of the constitution. And I would agree.

While people are free to disagree with the court’s ruling, it’s important to note that no president (regardless of party) should be able to simply sign an EO that overrides the U.S. Constitution. Aside from applications being fluid based on the court’s interpretation, there is also the amendment process. Trying to circumvent the Supreme Law of the Land because you disagree with it and wish to disregard our system of checks and balances is an intolerable practice.
