Honestly G5 would’ve been ok at best if it was just a new concept instead they brought bad story lines, bad characters and plot and not to mention DESTROYED WHAT G4 CREATED, Celestia worked a millennia to protect and bring harmony to equestria then twilight and her friends, just for them to crush all making friendship seem like a waste of time

They made Spike a quadruped instead of using his actual finale design, had an awful story that doesn’t make sense, had me puzzled with how Opaline told her backstory (WHICH WAS SOMETHING LUNA AND CELESTIA WOULD NEVER DO BTW), looking back at g5 it was awful in general, like why did I used to like it that much?! The songs are goated though. Summary: what even is this lore this generation doesn’t exist to me.
