Those guys did their job AMAZINGLY WELL! So what if they didn’t win the darn cup. They showed up, they played their best with honor, they represented their country with dignity and grace, and they showed the world their amazing culture. This should not be about who ultimately wins that stupid trophy, something even more amazing happened at the Great American Sleepover, something we ALL needed. We saw each other as HUMAN BEINGS worthy of respect and love, and that is the REAL PRIZE to be won, and if there were medals for that, each of these players would be wearing gold. Well done, fellas. Deberían sentirse orgullosos de su selección, porque llegar a un Mundial no es algo fácil. Detrás de cada partido hubo sacrificios, esfuerzo y sueños que muchos dejaron a un lado por representar a su país. Incluso el portero tuvo que estar lejos de su familia y se perdió el nacimiento de su hija por estar luchando y defendiendo su país. Por eso duele ver cómo muchas veces su propia gente los trata así. Se puede sentir tristeza por un resultado, pero nunca olvidar todo lo que sacrificaron para llegar hasta ahí.
