When my kids were little and we went to ihop they wanted waffles but I told them ihop didn’t have waffles because kids got pancakes for free..my son called me the other day and was so excited because he went to IHOP for the first time in years and they have waffles now..I told him they always had waffles I just wanted them to eat pancakes for free..he was so mad ..he is 35 😂😂

My son would get notes from the toy fairy. If his toys were in the floor when he went to bed, the toy fairy would come and play and “take some” He would write back. lol he was 6

I told my sons the light on the airplane was a camera and if they misbehaved they captain would push the ejection button. Everyone always complemented how well my boys acted in the plane. 😂 Poor kids would side eye the light the whole time.

growing up my dad would tell us the bank called and said we couldn’t go to burger king anymore because we had been there too much. he did this repeatedly with various places and my sibling & I believed him. As an adult i’m like they don’t call and tell us that 😂

told my son when he lied his eyes changed colors from then on when he lied he would close his eyes. told another son his nose grew a little like Pinocchio every time he lied and he would cover his nose
