I’m fully aware that most setting sprays *claim* to help your make up last longer but, in my experience, I really haven’t noticed any difference. That’s just my anecdotal observation, though. Setting spray = great for melting your make up together and taking away any powderiness. Fixing spray = contains film, forming ingredients that actually helped to lock your make up in place and make it last longer. I don’t think either are needed 100% of the time and it comes down to evaluating your skin type, the finish you want, and how long you need your makeup to last.
