Yes! I just revamped our church’s website with this method. I sent it from Claude Design to Claude Code in VS Code, sent to GitHub and then to Vercel. Now if I want to make any changes to the website, I describe it in VS Code which pushes to GitHub which automatically launches on Vercel. It’s amazing! Here is our new website: hopejc.org

How does a client add pages and posts on their own?

Horrible idea, a big NO, with no admin area it’s going to be an absolute nightmare for the client.

So no CMS? Is lovable smart enough to reuse components like header and footer? Are these just flat pages? Does every new page / blog article have to get created from scratch??

This seems unmanageable for the client to me? You could also, in the same time, develop a custom theme with Claude that can scale. I did this yesterday for a music school, where the teacher can add other teachers and music disciplines and the theme automatically connects everything plus a blog function.

Great stuff man!! Love it. We’re coding in PHP because it’s so flexible and super powerful with free open source tools. I have zero need for Lovable because I use XAMPP locally to view the UI design. I got the initial design from Claude design, then had it give me a prompt for Visual Studios Claude code clause to achieve exactly what I want. It’s literally life changing. I’m canceling subscriptions left and right. I created a deep MD file structure to keep things in check too so I have minimal bugs and rework to do.

So what can you charge tge client now that a site takes so little time? And is that still a sustainable business?

I’m staying on Wordpress for the blog and seo, also proven easier scanning for aio - but then using an html page builder for the design and speed! Best of both worlds imo

you could also use Claude design, export as zip, use Novamira to have a WordPress Elementor website exactly like the Claude design.

How is the seo doing compared to wordpress? How are you handling revisions with clients? We still do Figma before building in WP or replit

The last video mentioned how lovable is bad because Google can’t see. Is that different now?

So I went down the same path, I built custom site too, but I went back to Wordpress. The custom route is good but you cannot edit it on the fly. If you want to change one comma you have to fire the whole thing up and it’s a complete pain in the ass, I ditched themes on wordless and build my own site using greenshift if is a better solution. Wordless is still good it’s just most themes are bad, each to their own anyhow just sharing my thoughts :) good luck

I just switched over 30 clients from wp to lovable. good luck to you man. smart move. you can imagine how hard it was for us to get rid of wp and rebuild 30 sites. talk to clients, convince the move. trust me, you're making the right call fk wp
