I remember making paper beads from wallpaper sample books with my mom in the late 70's. She made necklaces with them. I still have one.

In the U.S. the library’s have stores where you can purchase books and magazines. Very cheap. Magazines are usually 10 cents. National Geographic has heavy quality pages. Just a suggestion to keep new hobby prices down.

WELL! Now I have the podge! I set out to make a beaded curtain a couple years ago.... made a ton of beads... and then lost interest when I got stuck on how to make them shinier and harder... but life also happened... so I put it all in a box and was waiting for inspiration to hit some future day. A couple of your videos ago... I found you and the miracle that is the podge! YOU were the inspiration I was waiting for! Went and got me a tub of it... and Im gonna ride out the rest of this ridiculous heatwave over the weekend making all my beads... beady. Thank you!
