I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with this :/ if I was in your shoes I would be just as frustrated. When I worked at a SNF we did have 30+ patients. And I’m not making excuses but it is hard. What always helped would be notes posted above the patients bed of specific things to know about them… just in the beginning until everyone knows the patient. it’s not perfect but we all worked with what we had and always worked together. My mother still works at a skilled facility and bitches at every nurse that doesn’t provide proper care. I hope over time the nurses can learn your father’s needs but I also want to say even though you’re frustrated, being kind to the people taking care of your father can go a long way.
