I feel like you didn’t push hard and clearly enough into the fact that the 5090 absolutely DOGWALKS the 9070xt in raw performance. I mean that should be obvious to everyone. It’s roughly 2x the raw raster performance of the 9070xt. 3x the memory bandwidth speed. And 2x the VRAM. With all AI features disabled and unaccounted for the 5090 you’re still talking about a monster truck vs a Honda civic.

As a fan of both and as a 9070xt defender this HAS TO BE a Ragebait 😭💀 the 5090 is destroying the 9070XT in every aspect besides pricing. The 5080 is destroying its. (9070xt is only reaching stock 5080 or slightly faster at raster in amd optimized games like monster hunter and it’s undervolt) the 5070 Ti IS better. At RT it can reach up to 30-40% and in PT up to 80%. The 9070xt in terms of RT and PT is competing with the 5070. Infact the 5070 is most of the times better in PT.

i think raw performance are still relevant because people like me just don’t use ray tracing and frame gen, only upscaling, for multiple reason, for me it’s because the ray tracing make the game so dark that i can’t see, even with my screen at 100 brightness and contrast, also the feeling to play with frame gen is horrible it make games feel laggy (and i try to not use ai as much as i can)

Vibe coded drivers makes all Nvidia underperform and can’t update windows without it crashing a couple of my friends have the 5090 and I will stay with my 9070xt even though it runs on GDDR6 and competes with Nvidia flagship GDDR7
