Passing down trauma. Majority of our parents didn’t like us, they tolerated us. We barely got hugs, no heart to heart conversations unless there’s anger, it stunted our emotional growth.

I’m very appreciative for that type of tuff love. It prepared me for the harsh reality of life and the real world. My parents worked hard to provide for us and tried to give us our needs as well. Being an adult myself now I totally understand PARENTS are human beings too

I remember being so uncomfortable around my mom didn’t really say much to her. She was so mean I remember my friend at school was talking to her mom and they were just laughing and talking. I was like is that your mom she was like yeah I was like oh it was so strange to me
