I FINALLY found THE VIRAL KOOL-AID pineapples (I hated it).. but not fully.. also guys yall should for sure shop with @merakipralinesandthings this like our 3rd video trying her stuff and EVERYTHING always good. She only made the pineapples cause I asked but trust me… if you request. She got you. #koolaid #pinapples #newsnackalert #viralfood #foodreviews So as far as the full review, just so y’all know, the viral Kool-Aid pineapples aren’t nasty. They just aren’t stand-out-able. The main thing that really made them go viral was the way that they look because they’re so vibrant and different, and visually, that triggers the brain. Bright, saturated colors naturally grab our attention because our brains are wired to notice things that feel new, stimulating, or out of the ordinary. But other than that, it’s very important that food has contrast. If food doesn’t have contrast, your brain can get overly exhausted with the taste of something continuously. That’s like you going to the gym every day and only walking on a treadmill. Eventually, your brain gets tired of that same task. But when you break up repetitiveness, it introduces novelty — and novelty introduces more interest. Lack of novelty equals lack of interest. It’s the same thing when you’re eating something. So the sweetness on sweetness is just overly sweet. Everything else my home girl gave was 🔥🔥🔥🔥, the crab salad is basically a mayo based salad. It’s SOOOOOO GOOD! It’s like Mac salad but without the Mac.. just crab meat The peppers are 🔥🔥🔥 cheesy and flavorful. tomorrow, since Erica was nice enough to provide us with two jars of pineapples — she literally went to Sam’s and got them just for me to make this myself — and she also provided the Kool-Aid, I’m gonna try something different. The first one I’m making tomorrow is a peach bellini drink-inspired version, and secondly, I’m gonna try to do a flavor-balanced version as well. Then I’m gonna compare both of them to the original version that’s going viral. So make sure y’all tune in tomorrow because I’m not breaking my back for nothing, you heifers.
