the "she needs to be independent" comment really resonated with me, because no she doesn't. she was already independent, but it was the duffers that made her character in s5 revolve around the love triangle. the independence i see some people rooting for is loneliness and it just makes me sad. why should she ditch all of her friends and loved ones?

She’s BARELY a morally grey character. Like she’s an actual human being for 2 seasons and then does nothing but make up for it for 3 seasons straight. Steve is at worst a monster and at best a useless idiot for all of it.

I love Steve he had pretty good character development but he was still a dick at times. And people literally shat on Nancy for NOTHING!!!! And I also love Jonathan AND IM A PROUD JONATHAN X NANCY SHIPPER…he was better for her idgaf.
