Well it would also depend on how much of muscle you might lose if you lose however much body fat you will almost guarantee to lose muscle, so you might have to factor that in, depending on your calorie deficit you might lose more muscle and body fat but it will be faster

these numbers don't math or in my opinion. I don't think losing 40 lbs would take you from 30% to 15 %. I'm pretty close to these stats. I lost 65 lbs and I'm at 20% body fat
