If Newsom runs for president this 40% budget increase will destroy any chance he has at winning. it doesn't matter how good that money is used, all people will see is a massive increase in tax spending

I think this is kinda misleading. I think it's a 40% growth SINCE Newsom took office. last years budget was about 320b. this year is 350b. that's only about 10%.

I’m glad he approved that budget…not sure about the publicly traded companies, but my bestie is a COO for a nonprofit and they have been working HARD to keep their funding. Their funding got approved today. So, that was good news.

The sad part about this is that homelessness issue will not get solved. Somehow we have not seen any improvement if not it has gotten worse since Newsom came into office.
