If something similar ever happens it may be worth using the app olio, it’s a free food donation app, although heatwave may not have helped in this instance, could be a future idea ( hoping it never happens again though ) !!

Please don’t put marscapone down the sink! It is really bad for the drains. Over time it will coat the pipes and cause blockages!

To safely dispose of expired mascarpone cream, scrape the spoiled dairy into a sealed plastic bag or container to prevent odors, then throw it in your general household waste bin. Do not pour it down the sink, as the high fat content can solidify and cause severe plumbing blockages.

Ok I don’t where you live but in your area must have local community food bank where people can have it for free and they would be very grateful I promise! Just donate make someone happy rather than bin it!
