@atsbaseball: Major League Baseball's team owners made their latest proposal to the players on Thursday in the ongoing negotiations between the MLBPA and the owners. Detailed here is their continued push for a salary cap and what they are willing to give up to get the cap. The players association has minimal interest in even entertaining a cap which is leading these negotiations to what is likely to be a prolonged lockout. We believe there is a 60% chance that there will be games cancelled/postponed in 2027 based off of the current standpoint of each side.
