Place an adjustable bench inside the Smith machine,lock the bar at roughly the lowest possible setting and Grab the bar just outside shoulder width with an overhand grip. Think about driving your elbows backward and toward the ceiling, initiate the movement by retracting (pinching) your shoulder blades.
