@heatherwyatt715: It’s been months since I have posted one of Aubreighs drafts! As her 16th birthday approached earlier this year, I just wasn’t emotionally ready. I was already falling apart. Then came Taylor’s pending graduation and all the beautiful, bittersweet emotions of celebrating her senior year, followed by her 18th birthday. I wanted to be fully present for those moments without reopening a part of my heart that I knew would be so heavy. Now that those milestones have passed, I’ve finally allowed myself to look through her drafts again. It’s still overwhelming, heartbreaking, and incredibly bittersweet, but it’s also such a gift to see her through these moments. Thank you for your patience, your love, and your grace.
