My last ACDF I was introduced to over 12 nurses, tech, anesthesia, radiology, nerve monitoring peeps when I arrived in the OR. My freaking was when I had a lumbar laminectomy because I was face down with general anesthesia. Neurosurgeons are so valuable- thank you!

I was in a room like this but not a spine surgery. It’s funny how, as a patient, I always yes to residents or people in training, once to a zoom surgery so doctors in another country could watch and whenever possible I like to be awake. I don’t freak out
