@zevialover2000: Everyone always asks, what can I add to my health/fitness routine that will cure me? Instead of digging deep and asking themselves, what am I already doing that is slowly killing me/my progress? It’s a harder question, and requires a level of honesty that most aren’t willing to have. The fitness industry convinces us we should be adding red light therapy and these certain exercises and this specific way of eating to change our lives. But from working with clients I’ve realized with the people that achieve the most change, they just evaluate/tweak the consistent habits they currently have. #fyp #realisticfitness #Fitness #GymTok #personaltrainer
Sooo very true. Very often people 1) don’t want to acknowledge what they’re doing is wrong 2) they don’t want to make a change, that disrupts their life patterns. It’s too uncomfortable.

The amount of “healthy” or “not so bad” things we do, is mind blowing.

YES! People will spend thousands on programs and plans when the thing that would make the biggest change are to simply work on the habit that’s the most detrimental.

Cutting alcohol, walking, protein, fiber, lifting are hard things to monetize. Fitness industry tries to sell one stop solutions

that's exactly it, industry is trying to make money, so they are *selling* you a "quick fix" to consume more.

It's a pity that the masses despite knowing how unethical corporations are (fitness industry) still willingly follow.
