Fun fact, the rebel alliance may not have had republic ships, but in the Battle of Exegol the resistance had help from several Trade Federation ships including the huge droid control ships

i remember reading somewhere that while it wouldve been awesome, they wouldnt have had the gas or the ability to maintain it, since the rebel attacks were all small hit and runs for the most part, with the battle of endor maybe being one of their largest
