The people complaining the most about the new X5’s design are the very ones who won’t be buying it new. Their real problem is that, in ten years, when it’s time to buy a used one, they’ll have to drive the same design they’re mocking today. The new X5 has upset future third owners more than anyone else. They’re already panicking at the thought that, in ten years, they’ll end up buying that ‘ugly’ BMW.
