i told my husband ONCE when we were dating that it made me sad that he didn’t compliment me or even notice sometimes when i made changes with my appearance. he instantly started paying more attention. if they want to, they will. and i seriously APPLAUD you for not staying with him, because you do truly deserve someone who tells you you’re beautiful straight out of bed, not only when you are dressing up
